This book is a must have for anyone getting into the stock
photography business. It will shatter some common misconceptions
about what sells and what does not sell. It also will help you
find subject areas worth spending your time on and identify areas
that all ready have an over abundance of available stock photos.

I have used several Java scripts from this book in
my web page and plan to use even more. I think you will like the
authors approach to teaching by giving examples and breaking them
down into easy to understand pieces.

If you are not convinced you NEED to market your images through
the Internet then this book is for you. It explains why the Internet
is the best thing to come along for the niche photographer. There
are lots of good ideas in here. This is not the book for you if you
just need to know how to build your own web site. Try the HTML Goodies
book below for that.

Once you have mastered the basics of exposure,
composition is the most important thing to learn next.
Photography would be nothing without composition. This book
will teach you how to communicate with an image. Trust me,
this is one you will want to read over and over again.

My favorite bird feeders and other products
Stop a Squirrel Bird Feeder
This is hands down the best bird feeder I have ever used. My squirrels
are very destructive and can ruin a new plastic bird feeder in one day.
This feeder has proven indestructible. I have used one for over 8
years now and it is holding up very well. It is made of metal and so far
the squirrels have only managed to scratch it. This feeder also holds so
much seed I don't have to fill it very often. The perch closes off the
seed when a squirrel sits on it, so the squirrels can not eat from it.
It took some of my birds a while to get used to this feeder, but they
all eat from it now. It seams to be my cardinals favorite feeder. I
would recommend this feeder to anyone, even if you don't have trouble
with squirrels.

Hopefully this will be my next camera.
